Eastern Iowa Paleontology Project

“Bringing DINOSAURS to Iowa”

www.paleoproject.org

The Eastern Iowa Paleontology Project (EIPP) is currently seeking financial sponsors at all levels of giving.  If you wish to become a financial sponsor of the EIPP, make out your check or money order to “EIPP” and mail it to EIPP, 647 Emerald St Apt C32, Iowa City, IA 52246.  Make sure and include your name, address, phone number, and email address if you have one.

Gifts of any amount will help the EIPP with promotional costs and other expenses.  There are many benefits to becoming an EIPP financial contributor.  Those giving at least $20.00 annually will be listed as a financial supporter on this web site, either as “Friends” ($20+ donation), “Patrons” ($50+), “Donors” ($250+), or “Lifetime Donors”  ($1000+).

Click here to see a current list of our supporters.  In addition, informational displays for “Fossil Guy” educational programs and the future traveling exhibits will list the financial supporters of the EIPP.  Business sponsors at the Patron Level and above may also have their business logo placed on this web site.  All “Lifetime Donors” will receive a free skull replica of “Laura the Kid Dinosaur” once the skull is reconstructed.  All financial contributors will receive special discounts on “Laura” fossil replicas and other merchandise as it becomes available.

The EIPP is a public benefit corporation as defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the 1986 Federal Internal Revenue Code.  As such, the full amount of any donation is eligible for deduction on federal and state income tax returns.

We are also seeking one or more major financial sponsors to construct a traveling exhibit around “Laura the Kid Dinosaur.”  Click here to learn more about this project.

Other financial sponsors will also be needed to pay for various promotional  costs, operational expenses, professional web site development, “Laura” reconstruction and preparation costs, other materials and construction costs, cabinet-making, graphics arts, commissions for artwork and sculptures, and legal/tax paperwork to name a few.

If you own or work for a business that would be able to assist in any of these areas, please contact us at the email address or phone number listed below.  We are especially interested in businesses that could donate materials or services, or provide them at a discount in exchange for receiving publicity and other benefits as an EIPP financial supporter.
